Madi is an LA-based actress, writer, and improviser. She is a member of the Impro Theatre Main Company. The is the Associate Director of the Impro Theatre School and the Production Manager of the Impro Theatre Main Company. She performs regularly with Impro Theatre and Ripley Improv.
Madi grew up making home movies on a farm just outside Austin, Texas where she had her first job as an exercise rider and later a horse trainer. Madi also worked hard on the basketball court and eventually was recruited by a DIII NCAA team. When Madi’s college basketball career ended due to injuries, she dedicated herself to her passion for storytelling and moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting and writing career in the film industry. In the past few years, she's carved out a career as a teacher and a professional improviser.
In addition to her work on the stage, Madi has been the technical improviser (lights and sound) for every style that is in the Impro Theatre Main Company Repertoire. She has helped to redefine and expand what it is to improvise the technical aspects of a completely unscripted performance.
